You are a Beautiful Mandala

Stephen Buckbee guides readers through eight interconnected dimensions of life, including the body, thinking processes, spirituality, emotions, relationships, nourishment, and personal history. Each section combines real experiences with structured exercises such as reflection prompts, visual work, and hands-on activities.
The book explains Satir’s Iceberg model and the Process of Change, showing how behavior connects to beliefs, expectations, and internal responses. Together, these frameworks provide a clear structure for understanding personal patterns, managing periods of disruption, and developing a balanced sense of self.

Feedback By the Readers
“I ordered You are a Beautiful Mandala after a friend mentioned it in a parenting group. I was expecting something academic, but it turned out to be very approachable. The way the author connects daily life with deeper emotional patterns felt realistic and easy to follow. Some chapters made me pause and reflect on how I react with my kids when I am tired or stressed. It did not feel like advice being handed down. It felt like a conversation that helped me notice things about myself.”
“What I appreciated most was how the book focused on understanding the whole person. It reminded me that my own habits and emotions shape the atmosphere around me. The examples felt familiar, like situations I have lived through many times. I did not rush through it. I found myself reading a little at a time and thinking about it throughout the week. It’s the kind of book that stays with you quietly. Good work by Stephen, hopefully he maintains this level of depth in his future work. ”
“I started reading this during a busy period at work and home. It helped me slow down and pay attention to how stress shows up in my body and in my reactions. The activities were simple but thoughtful, and I could actually do them without feeling overwhelmed. It wasn’t about fixing everything at once. It was about becoming more aware and steady.”
